Prince Harry has been cautioned about various aspects for which he still seeks forgiveness. He has been alerted to Prince William’s complex relationship with forgiveness, given the numerous grievances.

Author Melanie McDonagh shared her insights on the relationship between the brothers in The Evening Standard.

Her article offered seven pieces of advice and a caution regarding ‘Operation Bring Back Harry’.

Ms. McDonagh pointed out that “Even a partial rehabilitation will be challenging” at this juncture. She referenced the funeral of Lord Fellowes, where observers noted “the spectacle of the two princes in separate pews in church, not conversing.”

From what we have observed, Prince William is not one to forgive easily and has many reasons not to. These reasons include Prince Harry’s memoir, the Oprah interview, and efforts from Montecito to capitalize on the royal connection, such as Sussex Royal jam.

Ms. McDonagh provided seven key pieces of advice “in the spirit of public service.” The first piece of advice was to exclude Meghan from the conversation. The second was to bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet around more frequently. The third was to appeal to King Charles’ Christian beliefs regarding forgiveness.

The fourth piece of advice was to understand that “no event is too small,” as Ms. McDonagh believes attendance at Prince William’s Coronation is not guaranteed. The fifth piece of advice was to ingratiate with Princess Anne, as her support would be crucial. The sixth was to maintain a positive demeanor.

The final piece of advice reiterated the importance of excluding the Duchess from any negotiations, emphasizing that “forgiveness has its limits.”
