Punjab CM also praises Punjab Police for professionalism

Junaid Safdar – son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz – has publicly praised the Punjab Police for their professionalism after his vehicle was stopped and fined for a traffic violation in Lahore.
In a message shared on his Instagram story, Mr Safdar wrote: “To the boys from Punjab Police who pulled my car over yesterday — thoroughly impressed by the professionalism displayed. May Allah’s protection be with you, on and off duty.”

The statement comes a day after traffic police officials confirmed that Mr Safdar was issued a challan in Johar Town for violating regulations pertaining to tinted car windows.
The challan was issued during a routine traffic check. “No one is above the law. The challan was issued according to standard procedure,” a traffic police official said.
The incident drew wider public interest after Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also issued a statement appreciating the Dolphin Police team for taking action against her son and his security vehicle.
“You have upheld the rule of law. I appreciate the Dolphin Police team for ensuring legal compliance,” the chief minister had said.
She reiterated that the rule of law is a cornerstone of her administration and called for consistent enforcement of legal standards across the province.
