Ramadan Gift: Dubai Announces Construction of 55 Mosques and Expansion of Friday Sermons in English

Dubai announced a big project to improve religious facilities and accessibility for Muslims as Ramadan draws near. Announcing the building of 55 new mosques around the emirate, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has given locals and guests extra places of prayer.

Friday sermons will also now be extended in English in order to encourage inclusion and guarantee a larger audience may interact with the spiritual lessons given during Jumu’ah prayers.

This project complements Dubai’s goal of promoting religious unity and enabling non-Arabic speakers and expats to find Islamic teachings more easily available.

Modern conveniences will be included into the recently designed mosques, while its architectural beauty will be preserved. This Ramadan gesture from Dubai emphasizes the emirate’s resolve to assist its varied Muslim population and improve prayer opportunities for all.

These events mirror Dubai’s commitment to promote spiritual development and inclusivity as the holy month approaches, therefore enhancing the Ramadan experience for both citizens and guests.
